I practice from a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspective, which means we’ll not

simply manage your symptoms on the surface. Instead, our conversations will help us see

how relationships and life experiences continue to shape the ways you relate to yourself

and others today. My clients would describe my style as warm, direct, and when

appropriate humorous and playful. I take an inquisitive and supportive role for deep

work to take place.

Your unique and singular needs guide the therapy - I meet you where you are. I don't

believe in sitting there and saying nothing: I take a relational stance in every session that

offers dialogue and curiosity. In this interactive process, we work through your grief,

shame, anxiety, insecurity, fear, sadness and even the difficulties that come with joy.

Working relationally means that through the therapeutic relationship, blindspots are

revealed, giving opportunity for new ways of relating to Self and others to become

rooted within you.

This work tends to suit those who:

  • sense that intellectual understanding isn’t enough to create lasting change

  • are curious to explore their internal lives, or want to learn how to do so

If this resonates with you then the next step is a conversation…

Individual Therapy:

Sessions run 50 minutes, typically once a week. To define the focus of our work in the first few sessions, we may slow down to explore your experience, pay attention to sensations, dreams, and stay present to emotions, or engage various aspects of yourself to uncover beliefs, memories or images that shed light on patterns and places you feel stuck.

I offer flexible client hours Monday - Thursday

Relationship OCD Group Therapy:

This therapy group offers a supportive, relational space to explore the patterns underlying relationship anxiety and obsessive doubt. Alongside attention to the obsessive-compulsive cycle, we will explore the emotional and relational experiences that may become activated within intimate relationships - including fears of loss, vulnerability, doubt, separation, and not knowing.

The group is informed by relational, psychodynamic, and attachment perspectives and incorporates evidence-based approaches to OCD treatment.

Together, we will develop greater capacity to tolerate uncertainty, trust your experience, and engage in relationships with greater freedom and authenticity.
