About Me

Like many things in life, my journey to this work was an unexpected evolution. Growing up in New York City therapy was culturally ingrained as were the values of living expressively and authentically. As a young adult, therapy guided me through a process of individuation and to discovering my fascination with the hidden and unearthed places within us that drive, transform, and at times, hold us back.

This passion lead to over a decade of work helping clients struggling with substance use recovery, trauma and PTSD to heal their nervous system. Ultimately, this path allowed me to recognize what feels like a true vocation in Depth Psychotherapy.

Published Research, Attachment, Relationship OCD

Much of my work helps individuals, couples and groups untangle complex attachment issues—especially where relationship conflict, fear of intimacy, and emotional distance collide.

My published research examines the connections between disorganized attachment and relational patterns and Relationship OCD (ROCD). ROCD can be particularly agonizing as the mind may feel like a relentless storm of doubts, constantly analyzing feelings, choices, and the people you love most. It is common to feel deeply misunderstood or to believe that your thoughts are out of your control and working against you.

Education and Training

B.A. from New York University where I studied philosophy and Eastern religion

Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.

Two years of clinical training in psychodynamic therapy at Maple Counseling Center and continue my education in psychodynamic psychoanalytic therapy at the William Alanson Institute.
